Well you certainly don't need a 8800GTX for them games.

I reckon that'd do them alright, might wanna stretch to the OCUK 8800GTS 320MB which is something like 180 though.

Future games? Like? I bet a tenner BioShock will.

Also Gears was running at 1920x1080 super smooth at E3, of course that could have been on SLi but I reckon a GTX/Ultra could do it.

Think I might get this, Its on offer atm and BFG in the past have never let me down.

I 'ONLY' have a 7900GTX with my 2407, and I play WOW at 1920x1200, with the eye candy maxed out, and its rare that the framerate drops much below 60 even when theres a lot of people around. Framerate peaks at around 250fps in some areas.

Ok, for many games, a newer card gives better results, but for WOW, an 8800GTX is overkill, even at 1920x1280.
