Getting hold of one of these for me.

I know the "watch aficionado's" will hate it, and the people who pay £15.99 for their trusty watches will hate it too, but I'm crazy about mine!

possibly, I can see it as a casual/sports watch but it wouldn't sit well if you were dressed up

It's a watch aimed at surfing, with the tides, season, and heat bezel.
I love titanium, and it looks good with my suits

you got done ,you can get one easily for $400 ,not my cup of tea either but im sure it suits your needs for diving/surfing.

i dont live in the states either but regularly buy from there and all over the world

,even if you got caught by customs it would work out less

Do you do a lot of surfing down in London like ?
What about a nice Seiko with titanium on, I'm sure it'd be a lot better built.

I remember I bought an Animal watch when they where all the rage, when i was like 15 and it fell apart after about a year and a half. Looked nice but really was cheap tat.

I'd think twice about paying more than £80 for what is really a action/fashion watch.

Of course I dont surf in London, there is no beach here silly

Planning on immigrating to Australia soon though, plus most holidays are spent surfing 24/7

Animal is crap - like you say.. cheap tat.
I've had a Rip Curl watche for years - but was stolen, but they last a heck of a long time.

titanium also marks up pretty easy, the easiest way to deal with scratches is a fiberglass pen (you can buy them for a couple of quid).
