Forcing AA+AF on steam games ?

This is proberbly a stupid question but how do you force AA + AF filtering on steam games, I purchased pain killer last night and would like to up the AA but when I right click on the desktop icon to find the original EXE it's not there ?

not 100% sure what you want to do but if you right click it in the steam menu and theres some various tabs iirc

if its an ATI card your using you can set the ati tray tool to auto use a specified amount of AF and AA in 3d apps. turn it on before playing i guess. probably sumthin similar there for nvidia cards. works for my x1950xt anyway.

painkiller lets you set 6xfsaa in game, isnt that enough? lol

but how can you override that using the nvidia profiles, you know when a game does'nt appear in the nvidia profiles you have to browes for it don't you, so how does that work for steam games as thier exe aren't in the normal place.

Add a profile and point to the exe file of the game, propably installed in a folder inside the Steam apps folder and use that to override the AA setting of the game and force 16xQAA
