Cleaning the LCD displays

Hi all,

I have just bought my first LCD and would like to know the best way of cleaning my panel.

As I smoke (starting to think about not smoking at my desk), my display is starting to get a little dirty and im wondering what the best thing to clean it with.

A lint free cloth, and a little deionized water should do the trick nicely. Alternativly an alcohol based cleaning fluid.

You can buy LCD cleaning sets which come with a nice 'soft' flat pad which are idea for TFT's and Plasma screens.

Been using Klear screen for the last couple of years & it works very well

I use my glasses cleaner on the screen's.

No smear's and its crystal clear. Pick up a small spray and a glasses cleaning cloth from any opticians.

I use my glasses cloth to clean my screens, I just dampen them in a bit of tap water. works every time.

I just use a nice soft old t-shirt and a drop of tap water. I only recently discovered its a lot easier to clean when the screen is off and its nice and cool, then you get no smears lol
