Core Duo 2 offers 3 different advantages over regular Core duo. For one Core duo is 32 bit and Core duo 2 is 64 bit. Core duo 2 CPU's are 20% faster per clock. They also have more cache 4MB's vs 2MB's.

Pity though, the Core Duo 2 lappy im looking at only has 120gb, was hoping for 160gb but thats only Core Duo and has an Intel GMA R50 fx card - god knows what that cards like
