Whats this Santa Rosa thing about....Is it worth the money?...Everyones telling me to 'invest' in one of them! - Also I would upgrade to 2gb later if needed!

You could go for a dell vostro and have a 2 month wait on delivery.

The downside to this route is that Acer are complete crap.

Im sat here using it now dude, the build quality is excellent.

Acer are trying to turn them selves around with the new gemstone series.

Build quality is not an issue with this machine.

12 month warranty, so whos bothered anyways? If it breaks i take it back to the high street shop. If they take longer than 28 days to repair you get a full credit and choose a laptop of the same value again.
