if people remember i got a problem with my pc, there is a hard drive test suggested in the thread but it says to back up the pc first which is taking ages.
i downloaded a diagnose test called Freshdiagnose which was listed in the sticky above did a few benchmark tests. All seemed to come out fine except the hard drive which had write speed of 0.39 mb/s, they are comparing to other hard drives afaik the worst on there list is a quantum 15 5400rpm which is 4.13 so my 0.39 must be very slow.
The one thing though about the test is that it says copyright until 2005, making me think that rather out dated. Is it?
Im wonderging then is there any other free tests for the hard drive?
If this is the problem with my harddrive what can i do, like how would i get it replaced?
just did a check and i beleive its this one or a similiar one which with 3 years, did the or version also come with same warrenty?
