Was just wondering if this cooler fits the 1060 reference PCB. I found that it works with the 1080 but no word on the 1060.
Yup, pretty good for the price, the performance got overhyped though with people saying it will beat the 980.
Sure with the name scheme but it is a jump from 28nm to 14nm so it should be outperforming the 970 and 390 but hopefully as the drivers mature...
Quite well. All it is, is a marginally slower 390/970 with lower power consumption.

Yea, I had a 780 Lightning. Great card but just wasn't performing as well as it should have been. Still miss that card.
The fans it comes with should be enough though might be on the loud side though it does come with a fan controller. As for GPU maybe look around...

The enermax ETS 40 is a good choice as well as the popular 212x or the Phanteks TC12DX.
You'll be able to get much better performance going for used components. You can pick up a i5 2400 off ebay for around £50 and then a cheap 1155...
I'd say it's ready to go. Maybe get a CPU cooler and quiet fans if they want a silent PC but apart from that, like I said before. Good to go.
