Could be a sensor on its way out, might be the crank shaft sensor. Common on Corsa C's.
Some BIOS's have the option to enable/disable the port, might be worth checking.
I'm guessing there is enough address's in your DHCP pool for all the devices to use at the same time? Rebooting the router could be freeing up...
