I got the HP email of death too. On the upside, I only wanted a touchpad because I thought it might be handy while sat on the sofa. As I haven't even seen the sofa in 2 weeks, let alone sat on it, its no longer required. All I need now is another bargain hunt to consume my time.

I'm avoiding checking my card balance. As long as I think they might still have my money, I'm in with a chance. :cool:

I've been looking at youtube vids trying to find a similar noise without success. Its hard to describe but it kind of makes a click and the computer freezes for a second, then it chirps and whistles, almost like something starting up. It might do this once a hour or so, I've gotten so used to...

I built a new computer about a year back i7 with a Corsair TX650W. The PSU died after a few weeks, I got a replacement but it wasn't the same, it makes strange noises. I should probably have sent it back but didn't want to be without a computer for ages again, waiting on another RMA that cost...

I read that as it would only move vlar and hlar from the gpu to the cpu, not what it actually means. Its been a learning curve but I think I'm there now. (hope so anyway, I havn't got time for this).

It did seem like the starter of the thread was on the ball, every new version he had updated the first post and download link, I assumed he would have said theres now a new/easier version. What is it they say about assumptions...

So the other days outage saw my gpus sat idle and again this last 24 hours. I've tried the rebranding tool, it did nothing. What am I missing, why do I have lots of cpu wu's but no gpu ? My cache is set to 3 days I think, maybe 4, but I seem to run out of gpu wu in hours.
