Microstuttering in games whenever using mouse

Agree with the mouse suggestion, I tried for a while figuring out a similar issue and it turned out to be a mouse issue, give a completely different brand a go and see how you get on. I also had a friend with a similar issue to yourself, it turned out to be the PSU (I’m assuming not giving the...

    6700xt & 5600x

Hi all, Just a conclusion to the issue should anyone have the same problem. The issues surrounding really bad stuttering when moving etc turned out to be caused by my wireless G305 gaming mouse. The reason it didn’t happen in other games (shadow of the tomb raider, dirt rally, F1 2020) were...

    6700xt & 5600x

Temps are bang on - it's really only valorant to be fair, best way to describe it is like weird slipping/stuttering when moving mouse around, if I run in a straight line, it's fine. :D

    6700 XT Owners Thread

Mine has coil whine, coming from a 1660ti I honestly thought a cat was trapped inside my case - it does go away when warm though, with headphones on I can't even notice it.

    6700xt & 5600x

Hi all, further to the above the dirt 5 issue has been fixed updating to version 21.3.2, I thought that was what I was on but clearly not! It brought in ray tracing, and having that enabled plays fine. Valorant is still an issue but I've logged it with AMD & Valorant - I'm assuming as the card...

    6700xt & 5600x

Hi guys, I really appreciate you both taking the time to reply, Skeeter I hadn't seen those issues on reddit and it clearly isn't just me then thanks for going into so much detail, I'm assuming potentially the stuttering may be software related? @Digital what would lowering the graphics clock...

    6700xt & 5600x

Hi all, I've recently purchased a new PC after having issues with a previous PC I built a few years back (this one I brought pre built), these are the specs: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Six-Core Processor 16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz WD_BLACK SN850 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD Corsair 4000D Airflow...

    Weird hardware/software bug

Just had a little look, last night when discord decided to mute itself I can't see anything, what type of error should I be looking for? I have lots of critical errors as per below: I will try and capture on the event viewer after it happens next time - I do remember checking this before, I...

    Weird hardware/software bug

Hi all, I built my pc around 2 years ago, and it’s been fairly stable (I always randomly had the odd hard freeze of the whole system, but this would seem to fix itself for months on end). Recently I’ve been playing a lot of valorant, and for some reason the game will hard freeze for maybe 2-3...

    Iiyama GB3466WQSU-B1 Curve (1500R) 34” 1440 144Hz VA panel FreeSync Premium Pro

I had random flickering, new DP cable from Iiyama sorted it for me - if that helps. Just message them sent it out really quickly. :)

    Iiyama GB3466WQSU-B1 Curve (1500R) 34” 1440 144Hz VA panel FreeSync Premium Pro

Yeah true - although when I was doing research doesn't the gigabyte suffer with the same issues mentioned in this thread? I can't comment on the ElectriQ as I wasn't aware of it's existence! I've had iiyama products monitors years back and the CS was always top notch.

    Iiyama GB3466WQSU-B1 Curve (1500R) 34” 1440 144Hz VA panel FreeSync Premium Pro

My clicking noise and random white banding across the screen was caused by the included display cable, I plugged in my old cable from my old monitor and it has worked fine since. Further to this I did get in contact with Iiyama support, their support has been brilliant, they are sending me out a...

    Iiyama GB3466WQSU-B1 Curve (1500R) 34” 1440 144Hz VA panel FreeSync Premium Pro

So further to this static noise I mentioned it's definitely become more apparent tonight - it kind of glitches across only a certain part of the screen, it happened a few times while I was gaming tonight with g sync disabled/enabled, it's so difficult to explain but it also makes a click from...

    Iiyama GB3466WQSU-B1 Curve (1500R) 34” 1440 144Hz VA panel FreeSync Premium Pro

Appears to go when I turn off g-sync and turn off the freesync option in the menu of the monitor. to be honest the flickering only seems to happen in the loading screens, I haven't noticed it in game - but I have only been using it on and off for a day.

    Iiyama GB3466WQSU-B1 Curve (1500R) 34” 1440 144Hz VA panel FreeSync Premium Pro

Purchased mine and arrived yesterday from Amazon. I assume it was new stock in (maybe new firmware?), I do get flickering in some menus with G sync turned on, however I haven't noticed it in game. To be honest this doesn't really bother me, still an amazing monitor. One thing to note on mine is...

    Iiyama GB3461WQSU-B1 - Flat 34" 1440 144HZ 1MS IPS Freesync for <£400

Really undecided between this and the GB3466WQSU (with the curve), I know it's completely personal preference but any suggestions? I'm currently running a 144hz 24" 1080p monitor - so would be a big jump in size. :D

    1660ti 1440p

Thanks all, one thing that's making me hesitate a little is missing out on ray tracing, it seems to be the next big thing, and from what I can gather AMD doesn't support? Although the price different between the 5700xt & 2070 super is pretty big..
