Hi,
Hopefully someone here can help me as I'm not getting much luck on Google.
My Dad's got a 55 plate Audi A4 with a factory fitted (I assume) mobile phone cradle coming out of the dash, It seems like it needs some kind of adapter sat on it to make it work with whatever phone you have, it...
Hi,
What contract would be the best for mobile t'internet?
I want something that will give me connectivity via UMTS/HSPDA mainly, will drop to GPRS if there is no 3G, connect to a hotspot if I'm within range, and do it mostly seemlessly...
I'd be connecting mostly via my laptop through...
I prefered the styling of the Leon... but the missus preferred the Altea and it was more suited to our needs what with the baby and all...
Like I said though... I am coming round to the styling...
For us It just ticked all the boxes...
... Seems to be working quite well to me... ;) No...
Went and picked it up on Saturday...
Got a SEAT Altea FR 2.0T FSI...
It's a Jan 31st 07 registered 56 plate... 1060 miles on the clock... Only previous owner was the garage... We paid a smidge over £13k from an approved SEAT dealer with 31 months Manufacturers warranty and 19 months...
I once saw Gene live in support of the Bluetones at the Queen Elizabeth II Hall in London... not bad at all... Not 100% my cup of tea...but enjoyable none the less...
Immediate name that comes to mind of good and didn't make it... Anyone ever heard of Ezio? Their debut album "Black Boots on...
Not really no... Which is why I have been looking for a new car for so long... and more than likely I'll continue to change my mind and look at more and more options... If you know exactly which car you would get next then great... but for me it's a fairly big commitment that has to be the right...
Hi...
You may remember my thread on the Passat W8... Well... that went before I even got my test drive in it... so I went looking all yesterday for a new car...
Drove past a Seat dealership (hadn't considered Seat before) so spun back round a had a browse... The missus really liked the...
The only 1.8T's I've found have all been pretty much base spec... VW put pretty much the entire contents of their extras list into the W8 as standard and the bits that were extra have been purchased for this example... Which is part of the reason it seems such good value to me... 1.8T's on 02...
OK... I've sat on this for a couple of days and thought about it... but it still feels like an attractive proposition...
I've looked at both 5 series and 3 series alternatives and can't find a 25, 30 or 40 sport that comes with anywhere near the spec list and a low mileage for an equivalent...
Are the failings worth accommodating at £8.5k?
What would you recommend in it's place, that has power, and comes as well equipped for the same money?
Cheers,
Melon.
....
OK... Still in the position of doing lots of looking for a car... and not actually commiting to anything yet...
I've found something that interests me quite a lot...
Its the W8 4 Motion Passat... From what I've read so far it's quite a machine...
275BHP... 0-60 6.5s... Fully...
We had one as a courtesy car when someone went into the back of our Polo... Not a bad little car by any means... Missus found the ride a little firm... but I liked it... I always really like the style of that Mk too...
Price doesn't seem too shocking for a car supermarket... did you find...
Yeah... I prefer the look of the facelift... just that one seemed such good value...
At what point would a petrol 3 series engine become a bit of a gamble? 80 - 100k?
Obviously every engine is slightly different and you might get lucky... but what would you suggest as an accepted cut off...
I thought it looked a bit TOO good for the money  ...
Think I might see if my Uncle can go and take a look for me, He lives in Cornwall and I'd be gutted to travel all the way down there from London just to be let down...
Cheers,
Melon.
