Is Monster Hunter Freedom Unite available in the UK Vita store? I don't have a PS3 but I had heard some people couldn't dl it without one in the EU, just thought I would check before I take the plunge (without a new one in site it's kind of a must).

Like it or hate it, it won't be out until October! you might only have 5 months use out of it. You are taking a huge risk that the iPad 2013 will keep the same form factor otherwise you are having to wait for them to make a new one and paying over again. I love the look of it myself /shrug.

Well you can turn off the "red" (the led lights) so it's all black, it's not bulky but the styling is definitely not for everyone. It gets my vote as well, the r3 is a nifty little piece of kit.

So I installed this on Steam overnight, and upon launch tonight it then trys to (via the launcher) verify files and install another 12gigs! I close it, re-open and then it's trying to install 18 gigs it seems (but says it already has done 6gigs...), anyone else had this?

It's a fair question, considering people still play D2 today over 10 years after it's release. Take the loot mechanic from any MMO and grind it down to the simplest form and you have Diablo. That's the hook, constant improvement of gear allowing you to be more powerful and kill scarier things...

I find TB a bit off putting yes, I know it's his persona and that's what some people enjoy but I tend to find him arrogant. I agree with many of his opinions as well, it's just he puts them across in a way that says "this is the gospel as I think it and any counter-points are ill-informed"...

Anyone else in the beta finding it sluggish in the UK? No EU servers yet so ping is about 200ms but it still feels slow (pretty quick connection, no issues with other games). Oh and the downloader is really slow as well right now.

Actually no, they have said in the past that they want it optimized for all hardware, so much so that they were ordering old graphics cards off Ebay just to test it out. They know the key to WoW's success was that it can run on a hamster wheel, expect to be able to play GW2 on anything current.

I have been in the Beta for a couple of weeks now, between Skyrim and MW3 I haven't had a load of time with it but impressions so far (after the latest patch): 1. It needs optimising. I can run Skyrim on high at stable fps but D3 lags a little too often, also the netcode is still a bit shakey...

Yeah TotalBiscuit keeps saying on his channel that it is (so far) better than both MW3 and BF3 by a long way. I think CS:GO and Ghost Recon On-line / Future Soldier may also find a decent following.
