I can second it's a great monitor, I've currently got two. Play a lot of CS:GO with them and haven't had any issues!

1) great design, not too flashy, looks quality 2) removable /swappable mics is a great idea. 3) the mixer looks genuinely useful. Certainly a new idea :)

Yeah and you can even have a taskbar showing only windows open on that monitor. I've not found a feature not in Windows 8 that I've wanted, though I may be missing something.

From a naive standpoint it seems a trivial issue to solve. Maybe they think its not a widely spread issue in terms of usage, but it seems to me more and more monitors come with HDMI.

Is the DP issue dell's fault? Presumably this is all driver /firmware stuff and there's no reason in principle that it couldn't be solved?

I thought it would be treated like surround, but I don't think I can with only 2? It seems to only let me set things individually.

With both monitors set to sRGB preset I could see the first few pretty clearly. Changing to a custom resolution of 1920x1080 @ 59Hz on each monitor meant I couldn't distinguish the first few (this is what some people seem to suggest to try). The maximum resolution under "PC" is 1600x1200.

So I've now got the monitors connect up with DP, daisychain. However in the Nvidia control panel they still come up under "Ultra HD, HD, SD" instead of PC. My old monitor is packed away so I have nothing to compare to, but colours still look good to me. Is there a way to actually check what...
