What "man jobs" have you done today?

Didn't remove the valve. Only swapped out the motorised actuator that attaches to it.

What "man jobs" have you done today?

No heating this morning :( Hot water ok but while room stat was calling for heat the boiler wasn't firing up. Suspected the 3 way valve might be stuck and this seemed confirmed by forcing it open which restored the heat to the rads. New Motorised valve ordered from Screwfix and duly fitted...

The Manchester United Club Thread **Sponsored by Comedy Central**

Good debate. I'm torn on the one hand the club hierarchy has singularly failed to build a squad of players able to compete at the top level and has boxed the club in with some ludicrous contract extensions/renewals. It's an indictment on the Director of football that we have players in the squad...

To be fair he's shown more class and leadership that almost anyone else in the team. It's a shame he just isn't a modern centre back, has no pace and can't move the ball quickly. Considering ten Hag has demoted him and pretty much shown him the door he's been very professional and has arguably...

Garnacho was playing well and didn't look like he needed to come off. Rashford was awful, again, like every time he plays. We created nothing since he went off and allowed them back in the game. Granted they were lucky with a couple of goals but for me that substitution is what changed the game.

He's been poor again. I don't know how we are going to get the most out of him but it isn't playing like this.

Another shocking sub from ten Hag. Leaving Rashford on again. Bad management imo. Garnacho been decent again and looked easily our best forward

Overlap interview with TAA was good. Seems a great lad and had a good rapport with GNev. Not sure Jurgen would have been too happy with him giving away the tactical plan of how they press and keep their shape!

    Shogun

I think this show is decent enough and I'm enjoying it with the insight into the Japanese history and culture. My only observation would be that it's very similar to the 1980's series and whilst my memory of that is vague I do have the constant feeling of deja vu. 40 years of film innovation...

Very balanced. Arsenal have been excellent. All teams have a bad day. City will too but its a question of who can keep the energy levels and focus at the required levels longest. Arsenal's squad is better than last season but maybe not as strong as Pep's. City have the ability to bench/rest...

ten Hag out surely. We didn't have this many clueless performances under any other manager since Fergie. I've no love left for him. Only the emergence of Mainoo and Garnacho offer any positivity. Same tedious crap week after week and the odd lucky result. #turgid

Soft penalty but certainly not the worst I've seen. The lad makes an involuntary reaction with his arm and it hits it. I get why it's a pen but I'd be cheesed if it was against us. A bit like I was last weekend. I don't think we've had many dodgy pens this season unlike the covid season when we...
