*** Official DCS World Thread ***

I got them when I was flying the Harrier, shortly after switched to VR and got the total control panels. If you're not using VR or flying a plane in VR that sues those panels they are REALLY nice, you'll love em :)

I bought a pair in March, really good and very easy to setup and use. Then I discovered VR and haven't used them since as I got the Total Controls apache mfd's to use in VR and have been using those. The winwings are a great bit of kit especially with the screens, didn't realise that the...

Morning all, I've put together a new build, all was working perfectly till I screwed up while playing with PBO in Ryzen master. Windows pretty much eat itself, no issue I have a backup and the recovery media is on USB pen drive. I could not get the MB to boot from the drive, it wanted secure...

PBO Offset, is lower always better?

This is on a 7950X3d, Asus x670E hero MB. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm new to PBO tuning(my 5800x3d I just set to -30 and that was it..) and have been trying to soak up as much info as I can and can't find an answer to this. All I'm currently doing is using Ryzen master to lower...

Sim racers - what are you running?

R5 turned up yesterday, all setup but needed some tweaking. Being an amputee with the other leg quite weak the brake with mod was WAY to stiff. Changed springs and thats all good now. First impression was DAMN!! is this thing heavy, did some basic setup and had a go on Assetto Corsa last night...

Sim racers - what are you running?

Ordered the Moza R5 bundle with the brake performance kit, couldn't justify the extra for the R9. Now to find a game with a decent career mode to give me something to aim at while learning :)

Sim racers - what are you running?

Hmmmm, with the R9 and the better pedals(SRP with loadcell) it's just over 200 more, sad thing though is OCUK doesn't have 2 of the bits(R9 and desk mount) in stock for that so I'd have to go elsewhere. I'll setup rfactor 2 with my donkey old FF wheel today I think and have a bash for a few...

Sim racers - what are you running?

Hi all, looking at dipping my toe into sim racing. After a good dig around I'm thinking of going for the Moza R5 bundle with the upgrade to the brake pedal. As this is one of the weaker units on the market torque wise am I missing anything by not initially going for a stronger unit? Any other...

*** Official DCS World Thread ***

If nose wheel steering isn't explicitly mentioned it usually linked to the rudder axis. Just pop it on whatever axis you have spare or if you'd prefer a button assign it to "wheel brake on else off", the later is for the A4 which I think is what you said you'd be learning.

*** Official DCS World Thread ***

I have a pinky trigger/axis on my stick I always set to brake then steer with the pedals, some aircraft you have a switch to turn on/off nose wheel steering but it's worked on any plane I;ve tried

Lookup how to use TACAN and ILS on you're aircraft of choice, those and learning how to automatic direction finding(radio beacons) has made my life so much easier and landings "usually" a lot less stressful than they used to be ;)

*** Official DCS World Thread ***

Initially all you really need to setup are the axis, pitch/roll/rudder/throttle/flaps(or map flaps to a couple of buttons if no spare axis) and a button for landing gear up/down. With that you can taxi takeoff and land. Go and fly around for a bit and get used to it. Then watch some vids on...

Morning all, finally received my C2 on Tuesday, all setup as per the previous videos linked but I'm finding it VERY warm. Ah, just found out that if I open display settings in windows it then displays the correct colour temp, wondering if it's only loading the colour profile at that point...
