what Wang said, also, dont just change the setting and press play, everytime I re-install VLC and change that setting it takes me closing VLC and re-opening it for the change to work :)

A quick google shows the 20/1.7 lens takes a 46mm filter, and yes, buy a decent UV filter (Hoya for example) and you 99.97% wont see any image degredation and if worst comes to worst your spending £20 instead of £xxx...
Reviving an older thread but if I use a 'Headphone volume control' unit between my PC (Xonar D1) and stereo headphones will I notice any quality/dolby headphone etc difference or is it just plain and simple volume adjustment :)
Hope you dont mind me jumping in with a Xonar related question but its one thats been bugging me:
I have a D1 love it apart from the fact I cant figure out how to just mute the Line out/Headphone port, when I watch movies (optical out to reciever) I can hear a bit of sound from my headphones...
