"Professionally" Installed Patio Door with a Draught...

Yeah there a draft there. I guess what I really want to know is does the frame need to be re-seated? They have adjusted as much as they can. You can fit 2 playing cards up there so I guess about 1-2mm gap. This has been going on since august now

"Professionally" Installed Patio Door with a Draught...

Hi Guys, Had our patio door installed recently and had no end of troubles. After 10 separate visits to fix plastering, threshold and a draught from the seals we are still left with a disappointment that can only be matched by opening a whisky shaped Christmas present only to find a tube of...

Insurance Claim - Who's at Fault?

This is true, I am sure if I were driving the other car and not paying attention, from my perspective it would have been plausible to assume she had been pulling out, particularly if only noticed a split second before impact. I suspect in this instance our insurers have taken the easy way out...

Insurance Claim - Who's at Fault?

I fear that I will be unable to prove that she was stationary. Aside from those involved in the accident there were no other witnesses. My wife, obviously distraught from It all was in tears and didn't pay attention to the scene however, the driver of the car was apparently on the rampage. I...

Insurance Claim - Who's at Fault?

She hit the curb and stopped dead. It was a good 10 seconds before she recompiled herself and got hit by the other driver. I doubt she worded it that way to our insurer but she was most definitely sticking out around 2 foot but was stationary at the time he hit her. Only a distracted or blind...

Insurance Claim - Who's at Fault?

Hello All, My wife was recently involved in an accident and there is some confusion as to who is to blame. Unfortunately our own insurance company immediately pinned the blame on her, however we do not agree with this decision and are not happy that 3 other vehicles are claiming off of our...

Its funny, before the game I was chatting to a fellow Welshman, saying how well England had played, and how their renewed focus and management could bring them a well deserved grand slam... Such sour losers though :(

Wales had a stormer of a game, and as you have already said, would have won the game even if Roland held the whistle.... but what exactly was it that the ref did that makes you think he was bias?

    Nonprofit organization

I am fairly certain, but don't quote me on this, that only a small percentage of funds generated by a fund raising society (Not Charities) need to go toward the activity for which the funds are being collected. I.E if a door to door collector is raising money for a charity, he can take up to...

Around 12 years on this forums now..

Well Said Op. I have shared my experiences, offloaded my worries and gained knowledge from these forums. In a sense, as I know I can always rely on it, I could class OcUK as a friend. I too joined Pre-Nuke, back in 1999/2000 if memory serves me. I think I joined a couple of months after the...
