I've got tropical fish. Had them a month or so now and really loving keeping them. Already having ideas about getting a salt water tank. How hard is it keeping salt water fish? I was in the fish shop today they're expensive and so are all the plants.

How much does a horse weigh, roughly?

I don't know about all the ins and out of it but i know if we load up the Hilux with a big trailer we're supose to put a tac (same as in a lorry) on it. As a agricultual/forestry vehicle within 25miles of base we don't have to but. Not sure if you'd need to do the same with a car with a horse...

How much does a horse weigh, roughly?

I'd just pay the £90 to get the E entiltlement saves time if you were ever to get pulled over or needed to carry a bigger horse box or more than one horse. First time i ever towed anything was in a Hilux loaded with about a tonne with a 1 tonne £25k chipper on the back. Needless to say it was...

I've lost 8' of fence. At work we've lost about 30' of fence and the tail from our wind turbine, which we only put back up on Monday. It with stood the 60mph winds when it got to 80+ it came off. Over the road their eucaliptus has lost a masive limb, i'm sure they'll be over soon to ask me...

I'm out cutting firewood in THIS?!?!?

Chainsawing is hard work and anybody who says otherwise is either lying or never used one. Today despite the wind, rain and generally wrotten weather i've been in a T shirt and dragging around trees and chainsaws is heavy work. One of the hardest jobs i've done was a woodland management...

Anyone else affected by last night's storms?

Wow big tree. I know its the last thing on your mind but that looks like some nice straight timber there of some good diameter. I'd phone around some local saw mills to try and sell it to them. You'd make a few hundred quid. I've seen other trees come over and land on houses they were...

    Gravel Driveways - DIY?

Those little digger things are called Kangas. They're cool but not really suited to this job. If you do want one Buxtons hire them out. Diggers are now really small they can now fit through a garden gate weigh in at .8 tonnes and run on rubber tracks not to rip up your garden to much. Anyway...
