Driving me mad here but i'm unable to install the Gigabyte F3 Bios update on a 3080 Vision OC. Someone had a similar issue a couple pages back but they were trying to install it from a temp folder. I'm not. When double clicking the update file i'm asked if i want to update the bios. I click yes...

Yeh they whine. One of those sounds where you can hear everywhere but can't pinpoint where it's coming from! Replaced all mine with Noctuas and no issues.

Good job looking very nice and neater than mine. I defo took the cram all the cables in the gap at the front approach amd I think im gona be too lazy to sort that out as I'm sticking with mesh panel anyway Enjoy

Here we go final pics. It fits! Ofcourse being Gigabyte I had a bent pin connector I had to spend 30 mins fixing. What are the odds Anyway looks nice in the case and didn't crash in my 5 mins doom test.

Good to know. Im going to go with 1300rpm noctuas on the top then. 1600rpm 92mm fan on the rear and 2x 1700 rpm noctua on the side should provide a good balance on the 2 in vs 3 out and sort out the whiring at the same time.

Anyone getting a whiring/whining from the top 120mm fans when running at higher RPMs? Have a feeling it may just be me as my under desk mount is obstructing probably about 1cm either side of each fan. Have ordered some noctua replacements to see if it makes it better

It's an Ergotron HX. Only nice looking arm that can take the weight. It does go further back than the stand but the main benifit is you get back all the desk space under the monitor.

Yes I know it pains me a bit but I can't fit it on the desk cos of the monitor!

Seems a lottle hot for bios I'm running at about 38c now in windows on my nh u9s with 5950x. What are you getting in windows idle and with prime 95?

Im getting idle temps around the 50 mark with spikes to 60. Was at about 75c when running prime95. Noctua nh-u9s on 5950x

If its any help I have CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 1.35V Desktop Memory working with a 5950x and asus x570 i mobo.

Blast. While it fits it wont work for me. Looks like it's right up against the bottom dust filter and I have my case in an under desk mount so the bit it sits on will partially choke the card. Back to discord for me then.
