Pricing depends on where you live in the country. For me, £350 is very cheap but it may have been a small house considering no scaffolding was used. A very rough ballpark figure would be £1000 for a professional company working on a detached four bedroom house. You'll be looking at two men...
Patio magic is probably a more public friendly (ie more diluted) version of DDAC or BAC50. You can buy the undiluted versions of these chemicals from a chemical supplier. You dilute them yourself at a ratio of 40:1 usually
I've always viewed Reservoir Dogs as a play adapted for the big screen which is why feels so different from your average film. Tarantino's early film scripts (Res Dogs, Pulp Fiction and True Romance) are all pretty much plays. There's an incredible amount of truly excellent and quotable dialogue...
I do roof cleaning as one of the services I offer. Briefly I work from scaffolding, scrape the moss off by hand (using poles to reach the furthest points) before spraying the roof with a biocide. Do NOT ever get your roof pressure washed. Hypo is not a nice chemical to be using at any point and...
With regards to your musics, consider using a SSD with the Pi rather than an SD card. An SSD is cheaper and more reliable than an SD card.
Cameras - look into Frigate which can be installed as an HA add on or separately from HA. It’s very tightly integrated to HA. You can use a huge variety of...
Nah. Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are superb. Everything else by Tarantino is pretty damn awful. As an aside I also highly rate True Romance directed by Tony Scott who bought the script from Tarantino.
The best Zigbee motion sensors in my experience are the Philips Hue ones. Cost a lot but they’re rock solid and have never let me down. Batteries last forever too.
If you still want to use a Pi then pair it with a SSD. However, Unraid will run HA just fine. I ran HAOS for years as an Unraid VM before recently moving it to Proxmox
I was visiting my parents recently and checked their FTTP status which is identical to the info you have. I wonder if it’s a generic message as I know that fibre is being laid along the road only a few miles away and should be with them soon. I certainly hope it’s sooner than 2026
My memory is a bit hazy on this subject but I recall most CRT monitors being capable of higher than 60hz refresh rates. 60hz was considered the bare minimum and not ideal for general usage. All the CRT monitors I had from 1996 ran at 75hz.
You don’t but I’m not hard on my chairs so a 12 year warranty is wasted on me. Thanks for the heads up about the sale though as there’s a good chance my chair won’t turn up due to FedEx being awful as usual
EDIT: I did FedEx a disservice. The driver called back round this afternoon so I’ve now...
