Finally finished my new build, been buying parts over time. 7700x with a 7900xtx. Really happy, haven't had a proper play about with it yet.

Can anyone recommend a motherboard from the £300 range. My 3770K is due an upgrade. I was leaning towards the Asrock X670E Pro RS because it has PCIe 5.0 to future proof as I don't upgrade often.

Anybody have any ideas on how to change the default installation directory? So all the programs and apps I download go into my storage drive.

I just upgraded without really looking into it, I thought for £25 you can't go wrong. But I'm like a lost soul. There's not even a start menu. I can't find an easy way to change your default installation folder. On the positive, I didn't think I would ever say this but IE is working well...

I've managed to OC my 3770k to 4.5ghz, Idles at about 35 degrees. What is deemed as a safe temperature because when I'm playing BF3. It can go higher than 70 - 75 degrees.

Wow it worked! I couldn't quite get it up to 120hz, I get a fuzzy screen. But I got to 100hz which for me is more than enough. Thank you very much!

Anyone know how to get this card working in 120hz. I have a dual link cable and It used to work fine on my 6950. Edit: Wow, I'm a retard. Single Link only, DOH!

I'll pick up a MDP to HDMI on the way home and try it, I'll let you know how it goes.
