    PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

I still bloody love PUBG. Great combination of awesome gunplay and time enough to chill and socialise.

    Garage Racking/Shelving Recommendations

I'm in the same position and would like racking across the width of the rear of my garage. I'll take a look there and more widely and it would be great to have some more feedback.

What film did you watch last night?

Hell or High Water (2016) on Netflix. It's mentioned previously in this thread, but is an incredible modern western with violence, humour and an ambivalent ending. 10/10 from me.

Brightness/ alignment of new cars/ LEDS head lamps

Part of my regular commute is up the A36 from Southampton to Salisbury. Part of this road is straight and rolling so there are constantly headlights of oncoming traffic rising above the road surface. Biggest offenders to me for overly bright and poorly leveled lights are Teslas and pick up...

    **Unofficial Tyre Thread**

Can anyone comment on what the widest tyre with the squarest shoulder might be in 235/40/18? I'm looking to replace the staggered 19" wheels on my car with a square setup in 18 x 8.5. A 245 width tyre would be ideal, but in 35 profile it would be too low profile and 40 too tall!

    Indoor rowing - Concept 2

I'm keen to get a rowing machine for home, as I remember it being the hardest of workouts that could be good over winter instead of being on the bike for hours in the dark. Can anyone give some tips on something decent that would be suitable and that is fair value?

    PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

I still love PUBG. Such a good combination of being able to chat with friends and unmatched, for me, action.

    Spec me some carpets

I had some Cormar Primo Plus with Carpenter Richstep underlay fitted in my flat in 2017. I can recommend this combination. We have refused to do have the new build house we are buying carpeted by the housebuilder as a result of the excessive cost, poor taste and poor quality carpet and underlay...

    The nervous wait to exchange....

Me and my girlfriend finally exchanged on a new build a couple of weeks ago. I cannot recommend the experience to anyone. Being told on a Tuesday afternoon following the Easter weekend that you need to exchange by the end of that week else they would take the property away from us was not...

Has anyone got a clover lawn?

This will become my responsibility within a few weeks. I'm thinking of going for a full clover lawn because it should remain greener in times of low rain, won't need much cutting and when flowering it will provide food for insects. The plan for the garden will be lots of native hedging and...

    Company of Heroes 3

I've played a few hours after getting it free via AMD Rewards. It has been a long time since I played an RTS. I'm quite enjoying it so far.

Looks really smart that, it would be good to have more photos of different angles of the car.

    **Unofficial Tyre Thread**

After a lot of thinking about whether I should pay an extra £150 for the Conti Sport Contact 7 or Goodyear ASY 6 I have decided to take a punt on the Maxxis VS5 and have ordered a set in 225/40/19 and 255/35/19 for my 335i. I'll update once they are fitted.

    PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

I'm still playing a lot and really enjoying it. That being said the newer maps have so much going on, especially Vikendi. There are big loot drops, security rooms and bear caves where high level gear can be attained, plus opportunities for come back after being killed. The core PUBG experience...

    Show Us Your Motors!

My car is reasonably clean following brake and suspension upgrades. The colour really pops in the sun - I'd love to see it next to one of the yellow cars recently posted!

I think I am going to use the Maxxis VS5 as my next tyres when I ditch the runflats from my car. They are very reasonably priced and reviews seem positive.

GPU Power Requirements - 550W PSU

Thank you for all the replies fellas, really useful context. I've just changed my CPU from an AMD 3800X to an AMD 5700X and it is pulling ~130W from the wall during the most CPU intensive Prime95 test at its stock settings. I think that gives me plenty of wiggle room, but I don't think I'll be...

5700x v 5800x Same price which do you buy?

I just installed my 5700X under my Scythe Fuma 2 cooler. Running the most aggressive test in Prime95 it is hitting 53 degrees and running at 3.7Ghz. I need to change a few things in the BIOS to get memory speed and Infinity Fabric running as quick as I can. I'll see how fast the processor is...

GPU Power Requirements - 550W PSU

Hi All, In October 2021 I upgraded from an AMD RX480 to an RX6600. It's a great card, but I am GPU limited in my favourite games. All cards above the RX6600 to have incredibly high PSU requirements - I have an EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G3, which I think is pretty robust for the overall level of power...
