    S2000 owners advice

That's my thinking! Also been offered a similar car, GT etc. but 2007, 60k miles and asking for 15,500. It looks good overall but the soft top has a patched up hole on :( and the hardtop looks to have a bit of a scratch on top. I'm thinking 15,500 is steep with a hole in the roof. I'm guessing...

    S2000 owners advice

True. I've put a post up on a Facebook group and had a car brought to my attention. Only an hour away 2004, Moon Rock GT, 30K miles, Black/red interior and the Hard top still with the car. The chap is on holiday but is back next week so I'll go and have a look. I put my budget of 15-17k He...

    Caterham Time…!

I was going to ask if anyone had attempted daily driving in one, interesting! What was that like in the winter months?

    S2000 owners advice

Ha yeah, maybe they did general stuff themselves. It covered 13k miles in that period I think. But since 2012 it's been serviced every year or so by the looks of it

MOT history is great, one fail relating to windscreen wipers not clearing the screen and a few advisories over the years for consumables but otherwise retry clean sheet there

They are looking into it further for me, but at the moment it sounds like it. 1 lady owner from new, and they believe she used it VERY little in this time, but will see. They are chasing her for any more receipts/info

    S2000 owners advice

So the one I was enquiring about did indeed have a gap in servicing but it's been very consistent for many years since so I don't consider it an issue. Honda 05-06 then Gap until 2012 due to low use etc. then serviced consistently until the last one in 2023. I feel that's fine for a car that I...

Good idea, I'll do that! I agree with travelling for the right one, within reason. Imagine driving 6 hours and finding it's no good ;)

Just looked up this Roof guy and seems you guys aren't alone. :D Maybe being a "go to" place for goods went to his head

    S2000 owners advice

Thanks, the servicing etc was in regard to the Grey car with the full Red interior, and I agree it's fine. Had consistent servicing so that's all that matters.. though based on what they told me, there was a gap between 2006-2012. Think it's miscommunication, they are getting back to me tomorrow...

    S2000 owners advice

Yeah I noticed the number plate too. Maybe it uses one of those tacky off centre brackets :D Didn't notice the washers. Thanks all for closer inspection, this one isn't as good as it originally seemed and the price is too steep. I want to settle for one no higher than 15-17k at most really

I think the one I was already looking at is the better buy , red interior and all

I love the red roof against the grey.. never seen one like that before

    S2000 owners advice

See.. from a distance it looked the part, and now I see what you mean. Interesting! I didn't notice it wasn't the GT/Hard top when I first posted, and for £20k that almost feels a bit steep without

    S2000 owners advice

Mentions suspension mod of some sort *Just noticed it's doesn't have the hard top which I feel for the asking price of £20K, it probably should have?

    S2000 owners advice

Uhh ohh. A really nice one just popped up in Bristol (not far) but it's 2008 so higher tax but it looks the part and has the lip etc.. Thoughts? Worth the extra? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202403278009630

How are these actually fitted? Adhesive or bolted to the original somehow? Excuse my ignorance, never had any sort of body work done on cars

    S2000 owners advice

I've heard back about the one with red interior. Sounds like it has good service history however only the first 2 were done at honda, the rest were carried out by a local independent garage. Same one every year since. Is that a concern? I understand the s2000 can be a bit specialist? 1 lady...

Noteworthy Cars for Sale [Appreciation Thread]

To be fair the majority for sale are under £10kish and look just awful compared to this one. My dad had one in red from new when we were growing up, so always had a bit of nostalgia for me. I think people are coming back round to them now, they certainly look of the era in a good way! I think...

    S2000 owners advice

I do feel like I'd take this over full black interior aswell if it was one or the other. And I suppose this trim was so marmite that it may be considered.. "rare" to some extent, which is also kind of appealing
