For 5G? I'm on the Huawei 5G CPE pro, and no antenna. I'm lucky that I have a 5G mast 300m away with almost uninterrupted line of sight.

So, as the starter of this thread, the time has come for me to bow out! I've been a happy 5G user for the past 2.5 years, on my latest mast I was seeing 700-800mbps down, however recently speed has been reducing to 600ish Mbps with regular DNS drops where pages wouldn't load. Ping is about...

    Audeze Maxwell

You know I haven't actually listened to my DT990's for a while, but I just hooked them back up to my Fiio K3 amp/DAC on my PC and did some switching back and forth with the Maxwell. That's reminded me just good they sound! Apart from the obvious differences of open back Vs closed back, ie...

    Audeze Maxwell

Mine were delivered yesterday, a replacement for my broken Penrose which I had for just over 2 years (fantastic service from Audeze UK/HFH I might add) and the Maxwell are a step up and an improvement in almost every way on the already fantastic Penrose. Built quality is very impressive, they're...

****The Official 5G Home Broadband Thread**** (Three/EE/Vodafone/etc)

Yeah that, basically. Just makes things simpler, plus there's a "feature" on my Deco mesh that if the router drops out and the mesh doesn't detect a DHCP server, it will automatically take over DHCP and assign IP's from within it's own subnet, which means I've had no internet occasionally when...

I have the original 5G CPE Pro, and I have a mesh WiFi system - the 5G router doesn't have the option to turn off DHCP, DNS etc and let the mesh handle it all, I have to have the mesh in access point mode. I'd prefer to be able to use all the features of the mesh in router mode.

My Three 24 month contract is up in 2 months in January, just got an email through with an "Exclusive home 5g broadband upgrade offer" of 24 months at £22 a month. Erm, it's £10 for 6 months then £20 for the remaining 18 months on the website, why the hell would I take that "offer" :cry...

Are you doing the full plan? I'm on low volume, I've done 2x rounds of 6 weeks of sweetspot base, and I'm currently in week 3 of 8 weeks of build phase (short power). I'm at the point now where 5w more on my FTP is a huge gain, newbie gains have long gone! It doesn't get any easier :D :cry...

That looks like an inner tube valve - push it into the rim, if it springs back out then it's a tube. Tube valve cores don't come out normally, and you'll be wanting to ditch the tubes and go tubeless.

    Mountain Biking

I bought the previous version of the Vitus Escarpe as my first proper MTB, prior to that I'd hired a couple of hardtails and done a multi brand demo day where I rode 3 or 4 bikes, and learnt all about wheel size, travel, dropper posts, geometry etc as it had all changed since I last had an MTB...

Is that after the baseline ride? I'm going to try and fit this in next week but won't be doing the rest of the workouts as I'm deep into my TrainerRoad plan. I also really need to do some outside MTB riding again as I have a trip to Dartmoor in 3 weeks and zwift/TrainerRoad does nothing for...

    Power/Weight Thread

Yeah the 60 min is based on FTP rather than an actual 60 min max effort, and my FTP is based on ramp tests and/or 20 min FTP tests. In fact that pb 5 min power was set on last night's ramp test, so not ideal conditions! Short power (1 sec-5 mins) is my biggest weakness but my training plan will...

Well for starters heart rate zones are different for everyone. 180bpm might be max for someone and 40bpm below max for someone else. And average watts doesn't show the whole picture, again the best riders will be conserving energy, you will use up a lot of energy if get dropped or lead pack. A...

The Indoor Riding/ Zwift/ TrainerRoad etc. Thread

That's tactics. The winner was undoubtedly better at conserving energy, staying in the pack whilst putting out as little watts as possible, to then capitalise on any climbs and/or the final sprint. Also the top riders will have power in the upper limits of the category but if you look at the...

The Indoor Riding/ Zwift/ TrainerRoad etc. Thread

The baseline ride is a normal ride, right? Not a workout where you get to choose erg mode or manual resistance. Trainer difficulty may help, at 100% the ups and downs will be more severe, at 0% you'll be able to stay in one gear everywhere. However, if you're running out of gears on the flat...
