Swapping hard wired appliance for a socket.

As long as there is enough room I would replace it with a socket to plug the applience in. Probably invalidate the warrenty nowadays if you cut the molded plug off it. But easy enough just to cut it off and wire it in. Wouldn't want to pay £130 to have it done.

    Stair ramp cupboard/wardrobe help

Turn it into a built in wardrobe if it is going to be a bedroom Plasterboard and CLS like building a stud wall. Might be a bit overkill though. Or even build a midrise bed above it with more storage underneath. I like the the thought of just putting the desk abover it if using it as an office.

Legal to exceed speed limit exception?

Too many stories of getting booked if you go over trafic lights or bus lanes. Wouldn't risk speeding, Just carry on until you can safetly pull over or they can pass if you slow down.

    Garden fence

Took me a while to see it. Dont think it Would bother me much. Have a hit and miss style fence between me and the neighbour, and sometimes tie plants to the boards in the summer. Probably a bit of string showing on their side. Not quite as bad as hanging the washing line on it though. Maybe it...

    Platypus' Beginners Guide to Running

Would be worth seeing if you can pick up a used Fenix 6 Pro. Will be a bit over budget, I managed to pick one up for about £200. Wanted a watch that had maps built in, but havent used the maps on it as much as I though I would. But has been really handy when I have used it. If I have my phone...

Have you seen one of these before?

Old tank by the look of it. Probably be too much of a pain to remove it. Might be worth a bit in scrap at least. I would just leave it and forget about it.

Anyone using a Garmin watch and Garmin's Suggested Daily Workouts

Tried following them for a few weeks when I first got my garmin. It doesn't give me heart rate targets, just pace targets. Which work out at somewhat easy runs. Which after doing for a while seemed like a good way to train. The more I kept doing them the longer the runs were becoming, was...

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade - Now on Steam & Epic Games

Got so excited seeing this pop up. Then realised it is only on Epic. And £69.99 seems a bit pricey. Not much more to buy a second hand PS4 to play it on, But I have waited this long. But I finish work on the 17th, it's almost as if they planned it like this. My daughter doesn't finish school...

    Energy Suppliers

Just had the email from Shell, that I am switching to them from Green. The prices don't look that great from the sound of it. But are probably about the best I can hope for.

Didn't think that I would like this game, but ended up getting it after 2 friends mentioned it, and not been able to put it down. Put in over 20 hours already. Its been a long time since I have stayed up so late to play a game. Quite enjoy playing it single player, but when we get a chance we...

    *** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

I don't normally preorder games, but for 20 odd quid i couldn't say no. It will probably have some bugs, but I am sure they will be fixed before I actually get around to playing it. Just hope that my Vega 56 will be up to the job. I'm thinking it might be a good excuse to upgrade

    Vega 56 woes (SOLVED)

My MSI vega56 airboost was doing a similar thing. Although it was only now and again. I have flashed a different bios onto it (I think it was a sapphire one). Since then it has been a lot more stable. Not had the full crash and fans going to 100% since then.
