Well I'm up and running on Sky broadband now and my O2 e-mail address is still working (accessed through Windows Mail).
I was alarmed at first as the first few times it tried to connect, I got error messages but it works fine now
JRS, I can't explain it but when I ran CCleaner (I forgot that you can uninstall programs on there) and selected the 'Delete Entry' option, it worked.
Cheers :)
I wanted to uninstall F1 2010 (as I've recently bought and installed F1 2011 which is a big improvement), however when I tried this (using the 'Uninstall' option from within the game menu itself), towards the end of the operation, I got an error message.
I forgot to write it down.
After...
Thanks for the feedback.
As it turned out I did find that it installed quicker while temporarily disabling my anti-virus.
By the way there's a F1 2011 patch available, is it worth installing this as most of the improvements seem to be related to the online gaming side which I don't bother with !?
Yeah might try that but apparently it is a known installation issue as I googled the problem - http://community.codemasters.com/forum/f1-2011-tech-game-support-1420/473679-f1-2011-installation-freezing-20-thru.html
That could be the problem.
There's a few things to try (from the link) and so...
Well I waited for over half an hour and the progress bar didn't move a millimetre.
I'll try it again tomorrow and just leave the PC running and hope for the best :D
I have just bought F1 2011 and am having trouble getting the game to install :(
It gets aprox 20% of the way through the configuration screen and then freezes and all I can do is cancel the installation
Anyone else had this problem ?
Cheers.
I think it may be my fault as I haven't posted in this section of OcUK before and this thread should be in the Biker's Cafe sub-forum I think :o
Anyway, I have consulted the owners manual and it says:
This is what Honda recommend. This is in contrast to what is on the tyres themselves...
I've recently bought these tyres.
I can't find the link now but I read an article on the Michelin website which stated the effects of having under-inflated or over-inflated motorcycle tyres.
I've been riding motorcycles for over a decade and have always allowed the front tyre to be...
Sorted now :)
As it was OEM I simply rang up the OEM company who sold it to me and they said to use the command sfc/ scannow and a few corrupted files were fixed and after a reboot everything is working okay again.
I always thought that you had to have a Windows disc to use the scannow...
When I updated from the previous version 3 to v4 (what I'm using now) I uninstalled v3 but am unsure what to do as the newer version (v4.2.35) is not a completely new version as it's still a v4 variant if you see what I mean :o
