    Road Cycling

To be honest, this one would interest me more. 350km in 4 days, staying in hotels between is within my ability. Yes, it's pricey, but I also would get 100 Euros off as I own a Skoda  Two weeks before I go to Girona, so time to recover. Let me know if you decided to, I'd probably join...

Wow, that does look pretty epic. I'm trying to think how 700km spread over only 50 hours would feel. Obviously, very tough but wondering if I actually could?! Only once have I done 200km in a day, so this might be beyond me... Unfortunately, it's over the weekend I go to the Alps anyway.

*** Big Fat Weight Loss Thread ***

I did this initially, but you soon get to know. For example, I have one Huel a day and I got to the point where I could pretty much guess the weight of a scoop within a gram. At that point, I stopped weighing them.

*** Big Fat Weight Loss Thread ***

I hate to break it to you, but after 5 years I'm not 'used to it'. I still spend reasonable amounts of the day feeling hungry :( I'm jealous of those people that somehow don't feel hunger. "Oh no, I forgot to have breakfast!", "F off you b stard!" "I'm pleased I managed to only have two...

Fallout TV series being developed by Amazon

Yeah, personally I thought it was just a rather plain, dull character. Not really an issue with the acting itself...

    Food hygiene ratings

As said, it's not that hard to score 4 or 5. Just a quick look at the 40 nearest me, for example - 30 of 4 or 5, 10 3 or below.

    Food hygiene ratings

I've had to deal with these inspections for many years too and I've never heard of receiving a score for anything other than them spending a good few hours examining your premises, practices and paperwork. It isn't generally that hard to score a 4 or a 5, so whilst I don't look the score up in...

The Indoor Riding/ Zwift/ TrainerRoad etc. Thread

But that's fine. It doesn't need to simulate outdoors, in fact as we've suggested, we don't want it to. Lifting weights is also very artificial, but it singles out muscles and helps you build something that you can then use in outdoor/real-world situations.

I'm planning on doing the same. I'm only recently into reading, so have done the same with Bosch and Reacher too.

The Indoor Riding/ Zwift/ TrainerRoad etc. Thread

Yes, that's my point. Having just heard how stepping up out of Z2 can ruin your Z2 ride... a nice steady roll in Z2 is what I'm looking for, without the changes. Sounds like you might be doing the wrong plans or have it set up wrong? My point was around it can push just beyond what you can do...

The Indoor Riding/ Zwift/ TrainerRoad etc. Thread

It sounds like you mean, just picking a number of watts and riding to it? Tbf, even that is useful (eg Z2 training). But, in a workout you don't choose the watts or cadence. It worked really well for me, I'm a strong believer in it. I think of it a little like weight training. Would you do...

    Road Cycling

Yes, an average over 14% for almost a mile is plenty when you weigh 100kg, trust me... Granted, I was in the 'slow group', but I was the only one that didn't walk up it! I was waiting about 15 minutes for them at the top

There wasn't a danger, but there could be, which is what the Policeman was avoiding.

Hmm, if you choose not to do them  I think one of the most brutal climbs I can remember was in Girona. But no, you're right, on the whole, it isn't too bad.

Images of items I have purchased (except trainers)

Hmm, I'm not sure I have a wall big enough if I was to do mine... Mind you, I never really saw the benefit of keeping hold of old phones, so usually sold them to help fund the next one. Like you say though, that's definitely slowed as the prices have increased.
