Do I need a MBP? Probably not.

Was wise going for 512GB as 256GB is half the read/write speed on the M2. I got an M1 MBA recently and it's been the best bit of tech I've bought in a long time! Couldn't justify the cost of the M2, but deffo think the M2 redesign looks fantastic compared to the old M1.

    Asus ROG PG32UCDM - 4k OLED 240hz

Huge premium for early adopters, but it's great that they are finally coming! I've used 34 ultrawide for years (IPS) and think the 32 OLED will be my next daily driver. I loved the C2 42, but couldn't live with the size. Only downside for me is the GPU needed for 4k. I have a 7900XT which is...

    Dual screens or Ultrawide?

I have tried a million options and have ended up with 34" ultrawide. It works well for work, and it works well for gaming tbh. I did have a 24" in portrait mode at the side (for slack etc) but tbh, I just find using the one big screen is easier to manage and cleaner. I got a LGC2 42" at one...

    LG 42-inch OLED

I returned my 42 C2 in the end. The screen was amazingly good, never used anything like it. In the end, with my 60cm depth desk, it was just too big for both gaming and productivity. I have gone back to a 34" ultrawide LG IPS which is ideal for work, but I do miss the fantastic screen quality of...

anyone used to play on Wireplay ?

Those were the days! Started off with AoE. Played HLDM a lot, then Counterstrike when it was first released. Was proper good old days with a great community spirit. The crazy phone bills I don't miss though! Quite a few of us went and played UO in our Self Preservation Society guild :-)

    LG 42-inch OLED

I've been switching between my 42" C2 and my 34" ultrawide every few days to try and make a decision. Beginning to really like the 42". Use it mainly for productivity. My 3080ti copes with 4k on it (compared to 1440p), but probably on the edge for AAA. That said, I think 21:9 1440p is about...

    LG 42-inch OLED

Thought I'd share some of my thoughts, been using my 42" C2 for around a a few days now. I used it mainly for productivity, but do game on it too. I have a 60cm depth desk, but it's right back against the wall. The TV itself just looks great! Super slim and looks amazing on the desk. The...

    LG 42-inch OLED

How confident are we of that info btw? My panel was March 2022, but says 10 minutes. Doesn't the data of manufacturer of my panel suggest it's an older one?

    LG 42-inch OLED

Checked this on mine and says 10 minutes. Double checked manufactered date and deffo 3/2022.

    LG 42-inch OLED

Got mine from JL. Will check again, but pretty sure it said March 2022 on the back, so that would suggest a WBC panel. TV looks great, but tbh if it's a WBC panel makes me consider returning. Will check date again.

    LG 42-inch OLED

It's costing me a fortune this 'deal' :-) My aging 2060 wouldn't cut it, so have 'had to' pick up a new GPU and PSU :-)

    LG 42-inch OLED

hmm, I have a 65" desk and just taking the plunge. I have an LG 34" ultrawide at the moment. Width is pretty similar to the 42", obv I get a lot more vertical screen real estate. We'll see when I get it I guess!

Are you looking at the 48"? the 42" is £799. Add the code, takes it to £699.

    LG 42-inch OLED

Been waiting since release too and got it from JL today for the £699. I took out the Protection Plus as well, but there's a cooling off to think about that decision :-) Need a new GPU now :-)

Could anyone recommend a good office chair

Had a quick scan, but couldn't see anything unfortunately Troezar. It's for work, so tight budget and needs to be from shop.
