Any GPG / PGP experts on here?

I used drdruh's yubikey guide to setup my offline gpg keys ( master key + side keys ) on linux. It is very thorough and well thought out. https://github.com/drduh/YubiKey-Guide

    Converting to Linux

I'm using LibreOffice - probably one of the best open source office suites - for Linux. LinuxMint is from Ubuntu, so if your stuck about things, search for Ubuntu etc. I started the switch from Windows to Linux Mint - a nice start from switching to Linux. I use rclone to backup/sync my files...

    Which distro based on requirements

PopOS is more suited to gaming also, they have a nvidia iso option - not many linux distro's offer this open amongst their downloads. Garuda good also. Many other options, but they involve more tinkering to fully set up.

Intel 12th Gen + Nvidia Friendly Distro ?

The better starter Linux distros are: Linux Mint > PopOS. Since my switch to Linux ( deleted my microsoft account ), my daily driver has been PopOS - since I'm using AMD CPU and NVidia GPU. It's very handy for nvidia drivers.

WD Black SN850 SSD Loses Over 40% of Performance When Connected To X570 Chipset

Would these drives work on Linux? I mean no firmware needed. I've deleted my Windows account, and changed from Windows10 to Linux, currently using PopOS.

8TB HDDs, Internal and External - Backup Solution

I wouldn't advise using an external HDD to back up your data. I'm currently using this option, and I don't like it. Follow the 3 - 2 - 1 data backup strategy. 3 copies of your data, two of which are local, and 1 off site. To fix this, my solutions are: -Switch to Synology or DIY NAS Home...

    Linux for old laptop

With my old laptop, althon 2, 4gb ram, barely able to run Ubuntu. Tried it, didn't work. A little research for old laptops using Linux. Lubuntu - lightweight ubuntu came around. I used the iso, and it worked straight away. Got to the desktop, and didn't worry about having a look with the live...

** LG 27GL850 EARLY BLACK FRIDAY... BOOM... SAVE £150**

That's fine. I'm now ready to switch to Linux. I'm not really bothered about Gaming, but I will try to backup some game files onto my external hdd. Linux Mint has Steam, so I'll see how that is for Gaming. I might have to add on a monitor upgrade.

** LG 27GL850 EARLY BLACK FRIDAY... BOOM... SAVE £150**

Oooh nice. Not changing my gpu, just left for my system upgrade from last year is: monitors and nvme ssd. Still stuck on 2x 1080p monitors. At the moment, I am researching switching from windows10 to linux. Privacy and security reasons. So, therefore, I really don't need a monitor upgrade...

    New m.2 drives on pcie4.0

I'm just using normal ssd's atm, 2x 1tb ssd with my computer upgrade last year. It was no m.2 ssd to reduce the overall cost. Now the gen4 m.2's are coming to market, now is the time to actually make use of my mboard ( 3 m.2 slots ).
