So I'm in the US and I'm pretty disappointed in the retailers they're starting with for mobile payment. No CVS, no Safeway, no Trader Joe's, no Best Buy, no Starbucks etc. Basically this would be like launching in the UK with only John Lewis, WH Smith and Greggs.

It's a weird mix of signing for stuff and then typing in your pin for debit cards. The main problem being they would probably struggle to roll out chip and pin here, let alone NFC systems...

I guess this is my quandary – I kind of feel like an Air is a half-way machine between the MBP and iPad. I'm sure there'll still be situations where I won't want to throw it in my bag (I cycle nearly everywhere, hence the weight consideration). Functionality wise, has the iPad not caught up...
