Mine arrived from Amazon !!! a hour ago. On PS5. The 60fps is not too bad but good god the 30 fps modes made me want to throw up. Felt more like 20.

Are you in 120hz mode. Switch to 60 and leave vrr on. Flicker is gone.

press the back button to go to the option menu then hit triangle. Done. ( it says it in small print at the bottom of the screen )

I made the mistake of playing in smooth mode. Now when I jumped to the better looking option it feels really jerky and laggy.
