    9900KS...

Or better still, don't use P95. JMO.

    9900KS...

Probably a mod, with the usual "pass bye".

    9900KS...

Not really, just for memory benchmarks to be honest. Only strong IMC's will be able to run high cache and ram frequency.

    9900KS...

I believe not, this is my new D stepping R0 revision 9900K, the same stepping and revision as the KS, and the IMC on this chip is very strong, runs 4600 and 48 cache without breaking a sweat.

    9900KS...

Well it looks like the KS has a higher TDP, 127W, as apposed to 95W for a standard K, hmm.

Had my new 9900K RO Stepping revision delivered today, initial testing seems pretty decent. More testing over the next few days.

Just reinstall RB, no need to clean install W10.

Temps seem excessive for that load voltage, what are you cooling with ? RB not showing any temps ?

If this helps, CPU PLL OC voltage will be doubled by the PLL bandwidth level set in the bios when using HWInfo, Level 4 = 1.15v, so HWInfo will read as CPU PLL OC voltage of 2.30v, and this will change with each level set.

I set the CPU Standby voltage to 1.055v, this will default to 1.060v which is the auto default value until you go over 52x multi. You can set this and PLL Termination to 1.1v and forget. Also have a look in the "tweakers paradise" menu, in there above the "Eventual dram" voltage you will see...

Very nice mate, keep an eye on your CPU Standby and CPU PLL's OC voltages. Once you go over the 52 multiplier these jump up considerably.

@Distracted. Cant see much in the way of numbers in your screenies, what are your Realbench temps like at 5.4ghz ?

    I9 9900k

1 hour run of Aida64. 5.2ghz, vcore 1.285v and LLC7 in bios, load voltage of 1.243v. Max temp on lowest core 64c, highest core 70c.

Some people lap the die. Beware though, my previous 9900K died a few weeks back, I must have damaged some of the traces on the die when removing the solder, the IMC was never the same afterwards, and it died completely a few weeks after. My new 9900K is just as good overclocking wise, uses...

Direct die cooling a 9900k gains you between 4c-8c, this is what I had on my previous 9900k compared to non delided temps.
