I think this may have ended up being related to the Nvidia overlay or the Sharpen+ filter. I normally apply about 15% sharpen to my games because I like the way it looks. Last night I was playing Dying Light 2 for a couple of hours with FG enabled and had no issues. I then applied the filter and...
Hi,
I just upgraded from a 3080 to a 4090 and I'm having trouble with 3 games in particular, Cyberpunk, Diablo 4 and The Witcher.
When I have Frame Generation enabled the games just close by themselves all of a sudden. No driver crash or anything like that, they just close. I can play for...
I'd put my money on the memory. Either mod the card or RMA it. I modded my 3080 and mem temps dropped from 96c gaming to about 74c. While mining the memory dropped from 108c to 82c and that's during this heatwave.
I use a program called Argus Monitor to control my fans and pump.

It's really good and you can set a custom curve for both CPU and GPU. I think you get a month free trial then it's like £10 for a 3 year license (on offer at Christmas).
I have my fans and pump...
Yeah I've been having a look for a bit now and it seems easy enough to get the black female parts but the black male parts are no where to be found in stock.
Hi all,
I currently have a full custom loop with 2x360 rads, CPU and GPU block. I am wanting to add quick disconnects to my GPU as this will make maintenance easier. I use soft tubing with a 16/10 diameter...
I've been running my 3080 at 1950mhz with 0.900v for the last month. Played AC:V, WD:L and now Cyberpunk without a single issue and the card holds that speed at all times. In Cyberpunk I use around 280-300w with a max temp of 60c after a few hours. This is on water in a fairly warm house. My...
I use a program called Argus Monitor to control all the fans and pump in my setup. You can set fan curves based on multiple controllers and also based on an average temperature over x amount of time. So for example I have an average of 25 seconds on my CPU temperature so the fans don't spin up...
I have a Palit Gaming Pro OC and don't have any complaints. The Palit has a max power limit of 350w whereas the Zotac only goes up to 336w so you'll likely squeeze a little more out of the Palit. When I was running it on air the max temp at stock settings was around 70-74c depending on the game...
Yeah order doesn't really matter mate and you should just route the tubes the way that's easiest. I've tried many different orders over the last year just because I'm never happy lol and the temps have always been the same.
I maxed the vram on my 3080 yesterday playing Watchdogs at 1440p on one screen and watching an 8k60 video on YouTube. Didn't notice any slowdown in my game tbh.
