Solar powered security lights that work!

If you're just looking for a basic solar light, I've bought 6 of these and all still going strong. Two for myself and 4 for work colleagues. Though mine get full sun on east facing walls through the darks of winter, they've never run out of charge. I have them set on dim light constant through...

Project: Two storey/part single storey side and rear extensions

We spent ~£125k completely gutting our semi and adding on a new garage/utility last year. We weren't asked to pay a deposit, never mind a big chunk alongside it. Most weeks we typically paid him £1-3k. We received a similar styled quote to your other builder with items referenced from the QS...

    ** World of Warcraft : Shadowlands **

Yeah I'm the same always play solo so would be cool if we could get a small group of us. All my toons are Horde but with the levelling revamp it's hardly an issue if I rolled Alliance.

    ** World of Warcraft : Shadowlands **

I bought BFA at the start off the year but got consumed by classic and quickly unsubscribed, having never actually played it (BFA). Just looking forward to Shadowlands now as I obviously missed the boat :p I resubbed this week and have been trying to get everything up to 50. I'm still on...

    Kitchen Designs

The DIY kitchens one was better I found but if it's down try Magnet. It's glitchy as hell for me but works in the end.

**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S20 Family Thread ****

Can you pre-order the out of stock cases with that discount code? Don't mind waiting, as it doesn't look like EE will be sending my ultra out anytime soon. Be damned if I'm paying £50 for one :p

    Radiators and "Smart" Radiator valves

Heads up for anyone currently looking at the Hive smart TRVs. British Gas have a 20% off Hive products if you're a reward member but this is giving 50% off from today. You can get 5 smart TRVs and a free hub for £99. I was reluctant to buy at the RRP but this works out at £20 per TRV. Bung the...

What would Motors do about a trolley ding?

Absolutely scandalous. Someone did a number on my car last Christmas, while I was inside the supermarket and drove off. Cost me £200 at a well reviewed indy repair place. For a trolley ding... I'd be fuming with £1500 to pay.

    LG c9 OLED

Sorry to take thread off topic... But I managed to get a price match with John Lewis (against Electronic Empire) for the 65" C8 at £1679. Also comes with a £100 voucher until the 9th June. They don't usually accept price matches with this retailer so you may have mixed luck, depending who picks...

Name The Car That Broke Your Heart To Get Rid Of .

2008 Golf GTi. Having been a biker I didn't care about a car so drove a 1.4 Fiesta for about 5 years. After 2 bike accidents though I left them behind and decided to get a tidy car instead. This was my first 'proper' car and I sold it to renovate the house last year :( If I was still working...

Sister emotionally blackmailed away mums pension

Christ I thought my sister was a pain in the arse, deciding to have 3 kids and constantly dumping them on my mum (who is still working 9-5, 5 days a week and would really appreciate some downtime of her own). On reflection my problem is tiny and I would definitely go down the 'kick her in the...

    Show Us Your Motors!

Picked it up Tuesday after the general consensus in my spec me thread. Upped the budget quite considerably but very happy with it so far. One part of my work commute is an 8 mile stretch where high beams are on for 90% of it. I haven't even used them on this yet. The xenon headlights are...

    World of Warcraft: Classic

I cannot wait. As a PvPer back then, am I the only one looking forward to the return of marathon Alterac Valleys?!? It really ****** me off when they nerfed it. People looking for quick wins just simply went to WSG and AB instead. Although infuriating at times especially going into days but it...

    Insurance - No Claims

Worth checking if they even want the information, as I'm in the same boat as you. Admiral only want to know about claims in the last 3 years instead of 5 years on the comparison sites. It's still 5 years for any previous convictions though.

    Cordless vacuum cleaner advice

We've got the v6 animal for our 3 bed semi. Keep an eye on the Dyson outlet store on ebay. Pretty sure it was £150 refurbished with a 1 year warranty (actually gave us 2 years when I activated it). One of the best things I've bought for the house - well worth it, dishwasher being number 1 :p
