Just downloaded this on Gamepass, not played a BF since BF1 but I’m liking it so far. One question… I’m on a Xbox One X, so I get that the game isn’t going to look as pretty as it should. But the loading time on menus is unbelievable. If I go into class customisation, it’s taking a minute or two...
Hardware wise I’m nowhere near being able to run this on top end settings, but happy enough with my mix of medium/high/ultra settings as it runs well enough for me to enjoy.
Only about 4 hours in on a Nurgle campaign and I’m really liking their different recruitment mechanic linked to the...
Wasn’t sure if this one would qualify, it’s only because it had the Freddie Mercury pose/jacket on that I went for it. Don’t think I would have picked up on the name alone for this round.
Picked it up a while back and have been looking for something else that’d qualify. Really struggles to find...
@Bickaxe thought I’d sent in a my P entry? Was it invalid or just missed - I sent it ages ago when first sorting out beers for the comp as Porter was an easy one.
e: quick check and I sent it back in April
Admittedly I’m still getting my sense of taste and smell back after a bout of Covid, but I struggled to pick up any orange in this whatsoever. So much so I had to double check the label in case I’d misread it.
Tried to find a nice chocolate orange Porter or something for this round but they...
Mine was ok. Don’t usually have non-alcoholic stuff but when it was hot last week I was dying for a cold beer and couldn’t drink due to tablets I was on. Got to say, well chilled it’s a decent lager that you could put up against the bog standard Carling, Fosters, etc…
I have one which I’ve submitted, after a bit of deliberation decided to double down and play the Jester as well. Wasn’t sure if someone else would have it as there obviously aren’t that many beers out there fitting the category.
Probably going to be a scratch this week. Ruptured my achilles tendon and been pretty much sofa bound this week. Unless I can persuade the wife to dash round to the off-licence I’m on zero.
Now that’s a nice beer. I went down to a local shop that usually has a good selection of BrewYork beers specifically to see if they had Fairytale, sadly (although luckily for my score) they didn’t.
I’m with you on the other two being nicer, seem to remember the yellow one being particularly nice. This one seemed quite bitter and not quite as smooth/custard-y as the others.
If we’re allowed a beer from the worst performing country your “E for England” beer could still very much be in the running given our competition history. :D
