    BMW and M Power Owners

I've had a few things fixed under warranty during a single visit to the dealer. Paid a single excess.

    Spec me a TV: 43-46", £500

I'm moving to a new place and need to re-buy all hi-fi things. I've got an idea of what amp/speakers I'm going to get, but not sure on what TV. At the old place I had a Panasonic TX-P46G20 plasma, which was great. However, it seems that plasmas don't really exist any more. I'm assuming this...

I, too, want to know this. I have a Blackberry Music Gateway and the amount of electrical noise it dumps out is astonishingly poor. I get loud buzzing from the brake lights, a high pitched whine from the engine, and the cruise control makes it beep loudly.

Talking of injectors, I had all 6 of mine replaced under warranty last week. Car was in for something else, they ended up keeping it overnight and when the tech started it in the morning, he noticed a 'slight misfire'. Given the original issue was a warranty one, it was effectively free. I did...

So the temperature displayed is only a thermostat for the side (near the doors) and foot vents? The don't affect the middle two? Hmm. I can sort of see how that would be useful, but I'm yet to be convinced it's "great" :)

I'm somewhat confused by the climate control on my LCI E90. Here's a picture (not mine): Each big dial sets the temperature for... each side of the car? This doesn't appear to work very well - if one side is set to 16 and the other to 22, is it meant to blow cold out of two of the four...

Can someone help me out with tyre sizes? I've got a 325i with 161 wheels on, which are 8" wide at the front, and 8.5" at the rear. Both http://www.wheel-size.com/size/bmw/3-series/2012/#trim-325i-usdm and http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/ imply that I should have a 255 40R17 on the rear...

*** Show us your bikes! ***

Sounds pretty good once I took the baffles out. Lovely overrun, but not ridiculously loud like my old Mivv pipe was.

Yes, but this one has YELLOW SUSPENSION BITS.

Speed triple got written off, so I did the most logical thing possible. It's very silly.

    found my next bike

Followed one of these home the other week. They sound epic, but not sure they're use for much more than posing though.

Renewing bike insurance with ongoing claim

There's no statue that actually defines 'filtering', or expressly makes it legal or otherwise - the highway code simply tells other road users to be aware of motorbikes filtering through traffic. All passing of traffic is technically 'overtaking', it's just that there's case law precedent...

Renewing bike insurance with ongoing claim

So by that logic, it's impossible to filter on a non-dual carriageway, because it's always overtaking? The cars hadn't stopped to let someone out, they had stopped because the traffic was very heavy. For whatever reason, the gap was quite hard to see. However, what I would have expected from...

    Race Suits on the road?

2-piece textiles to work and back, 2-piece Hein Gericke leathers on the weekend. Leathers suck in the wet, but lovely in the sun.

Renewing bike insurance with ongoing claim

Good news, just been quoted £888. If I put lots more work in, should be able to get that a bit lower.

Renewing bike insurance with ongoing claim

I'd only be able to claim money back for having to make alternative arrangements while my bike is being repaired. Once I get bike back, as far as they're concerned, there's no more liability for day-to-day costs. It doesn't matter if I can't insure it, because that's a future problem. Otherwise...
