As long as it's dry and above 10c then it's fun. If it's wet or cold or both then it's just a bit miserable, still fine if commuting though!

Excluding CBT I think I had 3 lessons for the whole full A license lol. Maybe 4. It really helps having previous experience in a car!

That's just a lesson though. He's not going to get any of that on another CBT course.

I dunno, we're just talking about getting him up to the typical CBT level aren't we? Plus it's just bike control which you can only really learn by yourself. There's no telematics you can't see if you've got too much throttle or too little clutch. It either feels right or it doesn't.

Reversing round corners is mostly unsafe and there's little reason to do it in real life. 3/5 point turns must slow up traffic, I've certainly done them in real life though. I waited till I was 24 to do my test, although I was 23 when I decided I wanted to do it so it wasn't a huge wait...
