    Another LastPass Security Incident

And this is how I end up back on these forums 20 years later. Who knew I still had a password that worked and now needs updating

Making HDR work on the Dell UP2718q

Does anyone have the Dell UP2718q? Mine is causing me lots of hassle with HDR. I am running a GTX 980ti and have the monitor connected via Display Port 1.4 as the HDMI port is only 2.0 on the GFX card and doesn't support 2.0a with the HDR meta data needed by the screen. DP 1.4 should support the...

    Just received my Eizo CG318-4K

I haven't been on these forums in ages but I remember how useful I found them back when I was choosing monitors. This made me think I should post this for anyone who has questions. I have just received my Eizo CG318-4K after nearly half a year wait. I think it is one of the first customer...

ATGATT. New skin is harder to obtain than money lost on motorbike gear.

Late 90s 600cc sport bikes...a good shout for my first big bike?

I have CBR 600 F4i and under 5K your in town pootling territory, up to 9K is cruising territory and overtaking and spirited riding is done between 9 k and 14 in second and third gear. Good learner bike after your DAS as it takes you a while to realise how much power there is as it is hidden away...

    Braking early...

I thought that road looked familiar. If your in Reading hit me up if you want to ride out. Just remember, smooth is fast, fast is smooth. Also knowing Reading traffic I would take it easier on the weaving in and out, some idiot will knock you off.

New Rider on a 600 Sports Bike?

I had exactly the same dilemma when I passed my DAS a year ago, aged 25. Small/sensible bike first then a sports bike or straight to a sports bike ? In the end I bought a 2005 CBR600F which has been nothing but perfect. Insurance was good too, £600 fully comp (0 years no claims, garaged, in the...

    Night Riding

So the winter is still just about with us but as my house mate has just got himself a Z4 the novelty factor of having the top down has yet to wear off. A couple of pics to get those soft toppers fired up for summer For the photographers, camera is a D300 with a 10.5mm DX fish-eye and...

Just tried a Honda Firelabde 09

So Honda are running a compo this weekend where you can test ride any bike and have a chance of winning it. So I took the new blade out, and I was blown away. I currently ride a CBR 600 F4i, which is not exactly a pedestrian bike, but the torque on the blade was immense. I rode it the entire...

    400,000 graduate jobs

Words of truth above. A first class degree from a top university do not make some one employable, it makes them educated. Your personality, your ideas, the way you work, the way you interact with your people. These are the factors that decide if you are suitable for a job. I got a 2:1 from...

    Sunny Saturday ride

It was a bit of a hassle doing it again, but it was highly worth while. It makes you realise how poor your observation skills generally are as a car driver and having past my bike test I am now a better car driver.
