Connecting my Laoptop with Vga into my onkyo 876

I was thinking it might have been possible to connect VGA to DVI with a converter and then DVI to HDMI through a series of cables / adapters but this wont work as you are trying to send an analog signal to a digital device; It may physically connect up, but I don't think anything will display...

    Projector or TV

The size of the image depends on the distance of the Projector from the screen. The HD65 has a short throw ratio but limited zoom. To get 80" I would say the projector would need to sit around 4m from the screen...

(Yet another) Spec Me A 42-46" TV Please?

I had problems with some brackets on my G10 due to the positioning of the Freesat tuner; to get around this I had to shift the TV a few cm to one side to give enough clearance for the cable for the satellite.

    Projector or TV

The HD65 has effectively replaced the HD700X and the HD200X / HD20 is the next step up. What I liked about the HD65 is that it takes a 1080P signal so there is no messing around with input etc the Projector sorts itself out. I looked around quite a few places for the HD65 as pretty much all...

    Projector or TV

I just recently bought the Optoma HD65 which is a 720P DLP projector; extremely pleased with the results :D As mentioned the wow factor of watching movies, sports and playing games on 100" + is superb and totally changes the viewing experience. The Optoma HD20 is also another very good...

    Samsung 46 Led, decent ?

Totally agree with the G10 & V10 suggestions; I was in a similar boat tempted by the LED vs Plasma and after various demos and such I opted for the G10 as the colour / picture in general was much more true to life. The G10 at the minute represents excellent value for money for what you are getting.

    Package Prices

Just phone up ask to be disconnected and they will put you through too the retention department where they will try to work a better deal for you. Get rid of the phone for starters if you don't use it and drop your broadband to the lowest as I think they give a free 10mb upgrade anyway. As for...

January Transfer Window Thread - rumours and signings here

Buying Bellamy was only ever going to be a stop gap; we all knew that and the fact that Benitez sold him on for a profit is not a bad bit of business and at the time made perfect financial sense. Keane is different; sometimes have to wonder if it was Benitez that bought Keane or was it the...

    Biceps

If you want to build strength, try lifting heavier weight but lower reps, say 12.5kg dumbells in 2 sets of 8 reps or so. No need to do upto 20 reps when your goal is to build strength, to do that you need less reps more weight! Also try a variation of bicep specific exercises, do dumbell...
