I mean I ordered my gigabyte 3080 for 730 on the day and waited in the queue until mid December when i received the card. I paid around RRP and have a card where many many others don't. I did have a relatively low position in the queue at around 250 but for me it was worth it.

Is there a reason OLED Tv's have to be 48 inches and above? Why has nobody produced a 32 - 42 range of models? I still think 48 is too big for a desktop monitor.

I got that panel on my XB27 B grade and have not had a single issue the panel works beautifully and looks great so it really is just luck don't expect the worst. Plus even if that does happen it sucks but you know with OC won't be an issue to send it back.

Also tempted, would be a nice upgrade on my 970 but I'm not sure if I want to go big this time and wait for the beast that will be the 1080ti. Another question would you guys say the 1080 is important for the Vive or would a 1070 be fine?

I was thinking about that and trying to recall the old site but were they really that prevalent? With the new site they just feel so much more in your face. To add some balance I like the Lifestyle & Gadgets section very cool.

Not to be only negative but I absolutely hate the massive advertisements on either side. One of the things I liked so much about the old site was it felt like I was browsing not being pushed to buy buy buy.

I imagine they'll be a boom in demand for gpus from both companies once VR hits and the only hardware that can run it is on the PC. (Good time for Nvidia or AMD shares maybe?!)

Guys quick lazy question have Nvidia fixed the "display driver has stopped responding windows has recovered from a serious error" issue with the latest batch of drivers? I need to know before I upgrade.

If it was a bios issue why when I roll back to the drivers I had when I originally bought the card (msi 970) does it work fine and the newer ones it crashes?

I had this issue on the latest drivers. Screen would go black, flash and the error would appear "drivers have stopped responding etc". Took two hours to Roll back to my 2014 drivers that came with my 970 and things are once again ok. Thanks Nvidia

Just bought an MSI 970, website says 10+ still in stock so my card should be dispatched tomorrow or I'm taking a pitchfork to HQ.

No amount of fiddling with Asus Gpu Tweak fixed it so I used this guide by Lt Matt http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18431335 That has now unlocked everything and I am able to exceed 1050, happy times!
