What a load of rubbish -Dish drainer

All these drainers have one major flaw, and thats allowing for water run off without having to drain through the sink. The one showin in the original post, does the base have holes or is is slanted to let the water run into the sink directly (the latter would be ideal)...

    Professional C.V writing services ?

I did, 6 months ago. Was it worth it? Well it cost more than any other company (£250 odd), but there was "some" coaching included. But this company guaranteed that my CV would be at the top of the search results by ensuring the key words were present in the document. Before I had my CV updated...

    Multi Zone Smart Thermostats

This would make your wired thermostat redundant as it does not plug into anything. You could then just stick the Wireless thermostat in the living room and only when the living room is hot enough will the heating turn off. The TRV's in your scenario are just a bonus, and yes the TRV's can...

    Multi Zone Smart Thermostats

Made me chuckle! Interesting point, if all rads have a Smart TRV i think the thermostat would become redundant. I believe it all connects to the hub rather than the thermostat (that would make sense as the thermostat is only battery powered). I have 16 more radiators to set up before i...

    Kitchen fitting tips

I swear by these fixings, guaranteed every time. Its the only fixings i would use if there is any plasterboard mentioned against a brick wall. (Especially if you have the wonderful new type soft concrete bricks). http://www.drylinepro.com/

    Multi Zone Smart Thermostats

You set up rooms, and each room can have multiple components in them. I do not know how it would take the median of all components in the room, but it does let you do it. I'll be adding another video of it all in action and showing the app. Here it is..cannot really see the app very well, but...

    Multi Zone Smart Thermostats

So i have uploaded a new video on You tube, just to show the components of the system, and hopefully i will show another one soon with it all in action. Be gentle i'm not so good at You Tube, any video requests of the system and i will be happy to make a video on it. https://youtu.be/6lJjKxFmSTw

    Multi Zone Smart Thermostats

Good spot with the Underfloor heating. Definitely good to hear the pro and cons of all systems. Glad there is more competition on the market.

    Multi Zone Smart Thermostats

Interesting questions! I have not seen any publicly available SDK or API, the only current connectivity is with Alexa. How do the other systems deal with open window detection? Apparently this TRV does do open window detection but i dont know how or if there are any alerts that its detected an...

    Multi Zone Smart Thermostats

Yes, its simple and good for core functionality. It does have features which i am sure will be used in the future such as an OpenTherm input. And i am sure as the app matures the extra features that we see Hive, NEST and Tado have will be added. That's the great thing about software, the...

    Multi Zone Smart Thermostats

Yes its all installed and up and running. Longest part was replacing the faceplate for the programmer, that's purely because of my lack of knowledge with heating diagrams. In reality it was a straight swap, and worked instantly. So far so good, 2 rooms have the smart TRV's, they work...

    Harvey's Water Softeners

I got my Harvey's Mini Max 2 years ago on eBay refurbished. It was from a company called Sandy's Water Softeners. http://sss-sussex.co.uk/ Not sure if they still do them, but it came in very good condition.

    Multi Zone Smart Thermostats

I have been looking into this for a long time now, and i *think* i am going to make the plunge for a new system by Drayton. It seems as if its just come out, and does what i need - Multi Zone which is much cheaper...

    Harvey's Water Softeners

Do the electric models support high pressure systems and on demand softened water? I have a standard Harvey's twin tank purely because i have a high pressure system.

LED strip light remote to control 2 off?

Hi, I have been looking into something similar. I have been looking at MiLight also known as easybulb too. They have some led drivers that can be remote controlled.

How does your life change when you move out?

Have you thought about it from a Parents point of view? As a parent myself, I don’t want to bring my kids up to live in my house their entire life. I want to enjoy themselves and have a purpose in life. I would hate for my children to just Work, come home and occasionally go out partying...
