I've only ever experienced this in one game which was Half Life 2 - never really been able to play it :( gutted. I remember at the time of release there was quite a few people complaining about it.

Turn off the "Use Sensor Aiding" under settings>location settings. I think that is why the "Network Location Services" may be the biggest culprit! It does use a fair a bit of data if you are using the device as a sat nav and generally is not needed if you have a decent GPS.

I'd be careful getting the Move for kids.... It is very different from the Wii and Kinect in that it is very accurate and precise....it is a little more "serious" and kids loose patience with it in my experience.
