    Power Supply query

Thanks for the reply. The last PSU I bought was a Cooler Master and that had the cables for the motherboard in two sleeved bundles, so easy to know where they went. Pity Seasonic don't mention that's what you need to do. (For those of us who only do a build every seven or eight years).

    Power Supply query

I have a Seasonic Focus Gold PSU. There are 2 sockets marked MB. One 10 pins, the other 18 pins. The cable that goes in there has 24 sockets at the other end which will fit my motherboard. The other sockets on the PSU are: 5 x CPU/PCI-e and 4 x IDE/Sata/Molex. Is it ok to use one of the...

    Quality case with 5.25 bay

I'm looking at the Corsair Obsidian 450D. I want the 5.25 bay, but also want to fit a 360mm 3 fan cooler. The info states "Top: 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm (360mm radiator)" Anyone done the same thing, or let me know if this would be ok ? Just realised I'd been looking at the info for another case...

    What watch do you wear?

Just found one of these again. Thought I'd lost it. Turned out the wife had stashed it somewhere. (Can't believe the money some are selling for, but I want to keep it). I'd like to get it serviced and maybe a new glass. Was bought from new in the late 60's. Still have the original bracelet...

    Spec me a decent footpump

I bought a Beto upright pump for the Bike. My brother was so impressed with it he bought one to carry in his car. Just takes a little to get used to. Unlike foot pumps, the locking lever needs to be flat to fit and upright to seal. The opposite way to normal. Cost around £13 from what I remember.

Isis Troll. How many yards down your road would he have made it??

I'd have just laughed then told him to take his wife home. (Quite a few seem to like them young).

    What Got You Into Motorcycling?

One of the lads at school, (1966), had an Ariel. Had a go on it and got hooked. So got a BSA C15. Was a bit clapped out so re-built the engine. (Well, dad did most of it. I just kept giving him the hurry up. :D) And so it started.

*** Show us your bikes! ***

An electric bike would be just the job for me as I don't have to use one apart from fun. And just think. You could have USB exhausts. With decent speakers in them, load up your favourite exhaust mp3/flac sound and away you go. There should be a way of linking the sound to the speed. I mean...

    Project: Bsa C15 250cc

I managed to park mine in the drivers door of a car that pulled out on me. (I went over the car and landed on my backside.) My first words were 'Is the bike ok ?' That was around 30mph. One solid bike.

    Project: Bsa C15 250cc

From what I can remember it was slowish and a bit of a thumper till it got up to 25+. Mine was second hand in 1966 so no idea of the year. They did make them for quite a while. I believe there is someone on the net that has collated a full list of years and colour schemes for them. I'll see if I...

    Jianshe vs Yamaha

I have a Sinnis Stealth 125cc. No problems at all with it. Build quality is fine. Was talking to the local CBT instructor a year or so ago. He wouldn't have looked at Chinese stuff 10 years ago. 5 years ago they started getting better. Now he's using them for training. And as for not Jap...

Full vs Flip Helmets and Glasses

Have a look at the Nolan n44. Not flip up, but you can detach the chin part if needed. (Brilliant field of view with the large visor).

    CBT week Wednesday. Clothing question.

I'd agree with this. A decent pair of waterproof, summer ones. You'll also be able to take them with you to Cambodia.

    Nuclear Powered Aircraft

Plus subs also use seawater as cooling. (Massive heatsink there). Seawater cools the steam back into condensate, which then goes back to be heated up again.
