in your players folder theres a folder with your name on it, copy that or the whole players folder either will work. When you reinstall start a game then come out and you should find the players folder you can then replace.

Thats a good idea, I built a system for a friend with an 8800 gts 320 a few months back, that would be perfect as its the card I was gonna buy for it anyway. Should be able to talk him into lending me it for a night, maybe and I can always dig up my old crt to test it with.

Have you thought about trying linux ? Would be much more secure once you get it working

If your watercooling both cards your dont have to drain your system just stick something under the empty block to support it and leave the second block connected, wont hurt to have the block left in the loop untill you get a replacement edit* just make sure the blocks not touching anything...
