I put a pair of OmniSky VIs on my Avenger, much better than stock. Badgers are also a good choice.

You can also go to properties on the shortcut, choose Change Icon and reselect the default icon. Sometimes this works for me.

Same here, I set the onboard profile(s) as required in Windows, and can then switch between them in Ubuntu. It works fine but would have been nice to have a Linux version of the Logitech Gaming Software thing.

In device manager under Human Interface Devices, is there anything odd in the list? You can disable things there as a test. Also check the ini files, I saw mention of a vanity camera delay being set to 0 somehow. Guess you've been through all this already though, so wish you luck!

Have you got any gamepads/joysticks/face trackers plugged in? Only time I had games stuck spinning was due to some controller causing problems.

I'm really liking the Scandinavia DLC, much nicer all round. Even had some curse-inducing trailer parking which makes a nice change!
