made an attempt to tidy up the cables under the desk, theres 2 4way extension leads in that box, both are full. Hidden behind the desk is a 4port usb hub so which frees up 3 usb ports behind my pc but mostly allows me to quickly disconnect the pc.
Ive been very impressed with Alpenfohn wing boost 3,
they're ARGB, not silly money, perform really well and if you get the 3 pack then you get a remote control for the argb leds plus other items to link them together.
I eventually found msi center and gave it a go.
its basically a reskinned dragon center where you can download the modules you want which is nice but I already deleted everything in dragon center aside from mystic light and fan control and when i tried to add the fan control to msi center it...
I went with the P14 first and then decided to get the noctuas and honestly I'd say the arctic fans are better. sure the noctua fans feel like better quality but im not touching them and the performance of the arctic fans is bettter for the same rpm imo. I didn't hear the drone noise with the...
if your motherboard doesn't support 3pin argb then you'll need an rgb hub you can control over usb using software.
there are also argb controllers you can get which don't require software and use a remote control.
Can't say ive noticed issues with dragon center, I uninstalled everything it came with except mystic light so now all i have is gaming mode, user scenario, monitor and mystic light.
just got to be careful when updating it because it insists on reinstalling all the other junk.
It won't work unfortunately.
5900x is AM4 and that's not in the list of supported sockets according to their site.
If you can get an am4 mount for it then it'd be just fine.
I've got a meshify c mini and with 2x140mm intakes I have no issues cooling a 3700x and a 5700xt while playing any game.
With a good fan curve it's also silent under no load.
If you have any more questions then I can help.
My 3700x has high idle temps, usually 40-55 depending on ambient temperature and background tasks so don't worry about it.
If it's staying around 70 under full load then that's good and the same as mine.
Can't say I have noticed any humming with mine and I don't wear headphones, I have an agressive fan curve though.
Mine aren't the standard P12 & P14, they're the bionic version which I think is just an cosmetic change
