I would look for a local reputable carpenter to do the work rather than a fitted wardrobe company. They will be able to build and fit the units purpose built for your space and needs.
I think I’m in the minority but have never got on with using rollers. I get a much better finish in less coats using paint pads instead of a roller. I think it’s a technique thing.
I would stay away from ivy and instead use a different climbing plant like a clematis.
When I bought our previous house it was a condition on our mortgage that the ivy that was growing up the house was removed.
If you are paying an electrician to come and sort it then I would leave it up to them. If it needs an additional enclosure then they will either have one on their van or easily source one from a local wholesaler.
it is the resolution of the monitors that determine load on the graphics card. If your 27” panels are the same resolution as the 32” ones you are considering there will be no difference in terms of load. Both sizes will display exactly the same picture everything will just be a bit bigger on the...
All new ovens are like it and kick far more heat in to your face than older ovens. It’s down to the design of them and the changes made to get the energy efficiency rating up.
As others have said if its listed as included on the fixtures and fittings form they have to leave it. If it ends up being taken you will be able to get your solicitors to chase them. They are definitely just trying to squeeze a bit of additional cash though.
A few days before we moved out...
i've got one of these screens and had a year of faultless use from it until it developed a fault with a row of pixels. It was still under warranty with iiyama so i filled out the RMA form and was contacted to arrange an on site swap with no questions asked. Second screen turned up and stopped...
We are in the process of updating all the switches etc in the house we’ve moved in to. I really like the Schneider lisse range. They do brushed stainless or chrome with screwless faceplates and feel really nice to use.
I would suggest that running the cable round the outside of the house and back in upstairs would be the easiest way. Means you don't have to deal with trying to feed cable through cavities etc.
We had a similar issue with our sky mini boxes constantly losing connection to our main sky q box. It turns out for some reason sky boxes don’t play nicely with the virgin super hubs. When an angineer visited us had to set up a sky AP broadcasting a separate SSID specifically for the sky boxes...
Thanks for the reply. It would make sense that the wan/lan port can be used as a 5th lan port. Documentation isn’t clear though and only refers to this port when using it as the WAN port. Was hoping someone had the same router and could confirm.
I’m looking at buying this router to replace my virgin SH3. It has a WAN/LAN port listed can anyone tell me if this can be used as a standard LAN port in addition to the other 4 (giving me 5 in total) if I use the stand alone WAN port to supply internet from the SH3?
Virgin are great in areas where they are not over subscribed and struggle with overloaded network at peak times. You will only know if this is a problem where you are once you sign up with them.
It depends on where you live. Other companies do offer similar speeds in some areas of the country but in others Virgin basically have a monopoly on ultra fast. If you go to the think broadband website there is a postcode checker that will tell you what suppliers are available to you and what...
Ive recently changed my desktop from the same ikea £25 job that you had. I originally looked at a solid wood option but didn't like the price. In the end i went with a laminated kitchen countertop from Wickes. They do them in 900mm deep normally designed for a breakfast bar. The only...
