Unless you need hardware to drive your headphones, check out Hesuvi. It's software that lets you select from all kinds of surround sound profiles, including cmss, sbx, gsx etc. https://sourceforge.net/projects/hesuvi/
Might as well get the VG259QM for another £12 and 280hz, although currently out of stock as well.
£90 more than the 24G2U is quite significant though and maybe not worth it for OP
If you wait 2 months, another 2 months later and something else will be coming out.
Just get what you can afford now.
Games aren't going to suddenly be more demanding in 2 months time so a 1080 will easily run what ever you throw at it...unless you are planning on a 4K monitor?
If he doesn't need windows, no point getting a pre built machine
You can do this pretty cheap...
Intel i3 6100
Asus H110M-K DDR4 ATX motherboard
WD Blue 1TB HDD
Corsair Vengeance 1x8GB DDR4
BitFenix Nova Case
Corsair VS450w PSU
Comes to a total of £312.74 (not from overclockers)
Surely from these videos we are just hearing what our own soundcards surround is producing?
As the GSX is aimed at competitive gamers, it would be beneficial to see something like you trying to track the movement of a player you can't see as this is what gives you an edge over other players...
I'm building a computer for work based on the same spec another graphic designer uses here.
His specs are:
i7-6700
16gb ram
Nvidia Quadro K620
Looking at this graphics card, the output options are pretty terrible and I'd like 2 hdmi outputs or 2 display ports.
I'm also sure there would be a...
I would advise against using the overclock profiles and set everything manually.
When you're setting a 40% oc you're changing the base clock which causes the memory clocks to be far higher than stock. A 40% increase on 2133mhz means you're trying to set your ram at 2986mhz which just isn't...

Same speed and timings. This will be fine. Out of stock at the moment so might want to find out when they're getting it back in.
Is there a reason you want to go...
All your settings are correct
If you look under Memory tab in cpu-z, it shows FSB : DRAM 2:8 (1:4)
This is your bus speed x 4
so 191 x 4 = 764
To get your ram up to 800 you would need to set your CPU clock ratio to 20 and BCLK frequency to 200
This will clock your cpu at 4Ghz and your...
