    LG 48CX OLED - 4K 120 Hz

basically you can’t run 120hz, 4k in full 4:2:2, 10bit colour on hdmi 2, you need 2.1. You could drop to 60hz and gain back 10bit. so, really, to get the best out of this cx oled you need a 3080 / 3090 series card.

    32" OLED has arrived - LG 32EP950

to a point yes, but content creators will have the displays calibrated down to about 100-120cd which on an oled is roughly about 25-30% brightness on the oled light so burn in probably won’t be a problem for a greater length of time. Gamers tend to run their displays with 100% oled light and hdr...

    LG 48CX OLED - 4K 120 Hz

my 3090 picks up my 48cx, Alienware aw2721d and eizo 32 4k display on startup every time so I don’t know what your problem is. Even if I don’t turn on the 48cx while the computer is booting as soon as I do it’s detected.

    LG 48CX OLED - 4K 120 Hz

yep the 3090 is the future proofed card and priced, this generation, to appeal to a lot of gamers rather than only at pro content creators.

1399 for a card with 24gb of vram and you,say it’s bad value? It’s a bargain as far as I’m concerned, I thought it would be 2400

    32" OLED has arrived - LG 32EP950

my guess would be 60hz as it’s not marketed as a gaming monitor. probably be upwards of 2500 grand too, Most colour calibrated professional displays like Eizo are and I think LG are aiming for the same markets.

    Monitor comparable to an OLED?

similar comparison here, I just bought an Alienware aw2721d and a 48cx oled and the oled destroys it for gaming.
